I had an opportunity last night to photograph an opera rehearsal at The Boston Conservatory. With a little bit of luck one of these images might be featured in a print story about the performance.
The final performance of “Good” at the Boston Conservatory’s Zack Box theatre is today at 2pm. It’s a great show, well worth attending – and admission is free
Needless to say, I am very proud of Patsy and her entire cast. They’ve all done a really excellent job, and with very difficult material.
Some more production photos:
Patsy is directing a production of C.P. Taylor’s play “Good” at the Boston Conservatory. I attended a rehearsal today and took a few shots of the cast, and of Patsy directing. The show is looking great already, I’m really excited to see it when it’s finished.
Tavonna is a singer who had performed in one of Patsy’s musicals. She came by the studio for her headshots this afternoon, and since it was such a beautiful day we went outside for some additional shots after nailing the studio work.
I was hired by the Boston Conservatory to make some press photos for their current show – the opera Serse. It was a lot of fun to shoot – great sets, lighting and costumes (designed by Janie Howland, John Malinowski and Susan Slack respectively) and a cast that was really easy to work with. These are a few of my favorites. The show is still playing, there are performances tonight and tomorrow afternoon if you’re interested.
Another headshot session today. Liz is a theatre student, and she wanted to have a lot of personality and character in her headshots. So after we had done the tried-and-true headshot standards I took a number of shots that were just a lot more fun. This is one of my favorites from that batch.
