Today’s wedding was a lot of fun, and I’ll be posting pictures from it tomorrow. But this was just too much fun to wait on – the church has two cats living there, and they come and go as they please (as cats are wont to do) – during the middle of the mass, this one got up on the altar…
This particular photo is about a year old, but we haven’t made it into the studio together in a while. As my (single-digit!) readership will already know, Patsy and I got engaged a couple weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier. Having been a part of so many weddings for so many wonderful couples, it is exciting to have a chance to think about my own (Though, as a few of my friends have already noted, finding a photographer may be a little daunting…)
A few from yesterday’s wedding in Scituate.
Another fantastic couple came to me for their engagement photos this weekend. Samantha and Aaron are getting married in about a month out in Scituate, I’m really looking forward to getting some photos of them out by the lighthouse.
Today’s wedding was pretty unconventional, in fantastic and fun ways. At the moment when the bride reappeared in a red chinese wedding dress, the groom reappeared in a kilt – and he did this great jump for me
This is another from yesterday’s wedding – the bride and groom holding hands just after the service. I love how the hands are a little bit soft, with the flowers sharp in the foreground.
I always especially enjoy photographing the “getting ready” time before the wedding begins in earnest. So it was a treat to have an hour or two with Meghan this afternoon while she was preparing – we were really able to capture the whole story of the day.
